I have practiced creating a magazine cover in photoshop in order to refresh my memory as i have not used the program me over summer.

I started with a plain shot of a man on a motor cycle in a studio, and edited it into a front cover.
I then progressed to manipulating the image and adding in text.

Introduction

My media project for my A2 year consists of 3 different areas of media.
These are;

1. A movie trailer (video)
2. A magazine front cover featuring our film
3. A poster Advertising our film

To make sure that this project is successful, I shall make sure that I spend a lot of time researching into how people make each of these three things affectively in order to make sure that I have a full understanding of the topics.

I will need to make sure that I develop my skills in certain areas of media to ensure that I am able to complete this project to my full potential. 

For example I will need to be confident with using the following programs:

1. Photoshop
2. Illustrator 
3. Indesign
4. Scanners
5. Cameras
6. Soundtrack Pro 
7. Final Cut Pro
